SIGNAL LOST is an anxiety-driven multitasking game where you need to keep your pod operational to survive space after the destruction of your cargo ship, 'Dear Abigail'.
In a constant battle of "Man vs. Machine", react quickly to time-critical system failures and malfunctions to give yourself a chance to complete your journey to Venus and the base of Omphalos-1.
Managing the ship's interfaces means you don't get the luxury of dealing with one problem at a time—something always blows up in your face. Learn to juggle competing tasks and system repairs while malfunctions and meteors interrupt your plans.
Every task takes time, and another one always awaits. All compete for your attention as systems continue to deteriorate. You won't find time to rest when every repair is a chance to keep breathing for just a few more seconds.
Venus has been your destination this entire time, so you keep drifting toward your one hope in your metal coffin. Through a cold computer screen, the Captain's voice occasionally breaks through, guiding you as you push onward. Not quite company, but better than complete silence.
How close can you get before the pressure and isolation break you?
Immerse yourself in the role of a doomed astronaut.
Carry the sole responsibility of your survival through the vastness of space.
Repair systems and complete tasks in a constant battle against time.
Experience the tenacity of the human spirit in an inhospitable universe.
Discover the cost of fighting for your hope.
A short experience intended to be finished in around an hour.
So, will you manage to reach the relative safety of Venus and Omphalos-1… or will you die trying?
Hello everyone, These last few months we've been very busy. Working close with our play testers (friends) and implementing a lot of polish and desired features into the game. We've updated the DEMO for SIGNAL LOST with the latest internal version of the game. What this means is that what you see in the demo more accurately represents what the release of the game will look like. Some changes that the demo includes: A New Tutorial We've implemented a new Tutorial section into the game. The overall flow has been improved, it should be clearer and easier to follow along. Audio Overhaul A big chunk of audio has been updated with new and improved sounds. Module Visual Update We updated the Modules section with improved visuals. However, this is still not final. Quality of Life and Bugfixes There have been tens of small additions to UX, UIs and overall bugfixes for the game. Localisation Whi...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hello Spacers, I'm Dimitris (The second one) once again. First of all I would like to thank all of you for your valuable feedback, it's important that such things are heard and passed down to us. I took the time to read through the recent forum posts on the SIGNAL LOST DEMO. Thus, we've added the following requested Quality Of Life features listed below. 1) Intro Skipping You can now skip both the main intro & the game intro by pressing (E) - an appropriate visual indicator now appears in the bottom right corner of your screen at all times (only during the intro cinematics). You can press E at any point in time between the start & the end of the two intros, no limitations as to when you decide to skip. 2) Reduced Intro Time Game Intro & Main Intro have been greatly sped up. I've reduced a lot of the timers to half their time & removed some entirely. 3) Quitting back to the Main Menu t...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hello Spacers, I'm Dimitris (The second one) once again. The second pass update for the Demo is finally live and in time for Steam's Next Fest. We've included some community feedback and more features into the Demo as well as bug fixes. Interaction Highlighter : Now when you hover your mouse over an interactable object there will be a blue rim indicator around the object (similar to when you select a repair module). Task Execution Feedback : Now when executing a task there are 2 visual feedback components. First, a "Executing Task" bar that loads and indicates that the task is being executed. Second, a CMD feedback message that notifies you if you've successfully executed the task, if the command is invalid or if a module system malfunction prevents the execution of the said task. New Sound System :With this update we've paved the way for adding special surrounding sounds which can on...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hello Spacers, I'm Dimitris (The second one) I'm the developer of Signal Lost. We would like to thank all of you for playing our demo so far and providing incredibly valuable feedback as well as bug reports. Continuing, we'll be updating the demo to fix the bugs you've brought to our attention and implement user feedback. This is the first Update Pass for the demo, which includes a fix for a notorious bug that wouldn't let players experience the demo past the tutorial sequence. (A player had found a fix for this particular bug, by closing the game & upon startup pressing continue). Further more we're planning a second Demo update in February that includes a lot more improvements and polishes. To stay in the loop join our Discord.
