Green Again is a feel-good blend between a farming game and a colony simulation game. Set out in a colorful, hand-drawn sci-fi world inhabited by tiny plant people called Sproutlings. After the previous inhabitants of the planet created a terraforming AI and caused an ecological catastrophe, most of the planet is now barren and overrun with malfunctioning robots.
Protect this brave civilisation as they overcome their environment and restore the planet to its former green state!
Construct settlements by terraforming the ground, farming a variety of crops, and defending your farms from stray bots. Unlock better technology and plant the right seeds to perfect your crop rotation and thrive in all kinds of weather. Decorate your colony to make your people happy, and build a variety of turrets to keep them safe from rogue robots. Finally, unlock creative mode and build a colony without limits!
Discover procedurally generated maps covered by fog, just waiting for your sproutlings to inhabit. Reveal the hidden areas to find new decorations, capturable buildings, resources, and more ground for building and planting. But be careful! You might stumble upon a nest of rampaging robots that could be more than you can handle…
Use powerful terraforming technology to break through the concrete and metal, and reveal the nature beneath. Send your specialised Sproutling team to clear rubble and industrial debris, turning the wasteland into lush and green terrain to heal your wounded world.
Stay on top of the Sproutlings’ needs by keeping them well fed, but watch out for random events! Between swarms of nano-bots, blizzards, wildfires and more, it takes a lot to keep the Sproutlings safe and happy! Tactically place farms, decor and other buildings while researching more advanced technologies and upgrades to make their life’s work not just important, but enjoyable.

Read full update on Steam ↗Green Again is taking part in TactiCon from July 17-21! To prepare the Sproutlings for this big event, here's a new update! The Lore Tree is a major new feature to our demo, so this update mostly focuses on polishing it, with numerous bug fixes, visual improvements and QoL changes to the Lore Tree alongside optimizations on other aspects of the game as well. Another highlight for the update is the reintroduction of building visual changes with higher tech levels. Certain buildings, including base structures, wells, farms and outposts, will have a more advanced-looking sprites as you unlock more of the tech tree. This feature has been in the game for a while, but it was previously linked to specific upgrades. It was temporarily removed in recent versions due to the Lore Tree changes and has now been reimplemented in a more straightforward and noticeable format. For the full change log,...
Read full update on Steam ↗Heya Sproutling fans! Green Again got a major update with the new Forge Zone back in March, and it’s about time for another big one! The Lore Tree has been introduced to the game to give the Sproutlings even more support on their terraforming endeavours. In our June monthly round-up, we'll be covering this new upgrade system in detail. The Lore TreeA currency called Loreleaves can be earned in each world playthrough by completing and replaying levels, achieving objectives, growing your settlement, or collecting Loreleaf monoliths. You can then use these Loreleaves to unlock upgrades on the Lore Tree, ranging from boosting farm production to buffing buildings and Sproutlings! The Lore Tree applies its effects across all zones in the same save file, and does not reset upon starting a new game in a different zone (unlike the previous tech tree). This should make each run easier and more s...

Now certain decorations can only be unlocked in specific zones, and the unlocked decorations will carry over to different maps within the same world playthrough. Read full update on Steam ↗Hey there, Sproutling fans! We've got an exciting new update for you today, and we're pretty keen to share it...so let's dive straight in, shall we? If you're following us on Twitter or TikTok, you might've seen a little teaser last week...Sproutlings have had a makeover! They now have new animations, hairstyles, and facial expressions, which we happen to think makes them even more adorable. It's not just the Sproutlings that have had a glow up, though - we've also got a brand new UI for you, with custom elements, a new font, and streamlined functionality to make it easier than ever to manage your Sproutlings (and keep them safe from pesky robots!), and we've spruced up the world map and changed the way zones are generated, so they're now a more circular shape. Read full update on Steam ↗Hey there, Sproutling fans! We've got a new update to the demo for you, just in time for Dinos vs. Robots Fest, which we'll be participating in next week! There are some exciting new challenges to look forward to with this latest update, so shall we dive into the highlights? First up on the agenda: drones. These protective lil bots will now appear during both zones in the demo, and they'll be tasked with defending the Ancient Buildings in the Town Zone, and the Transmitters in the Junkyard. They'll be able to harm your Sproutlings, so you might want to build some watchtowers... Which brings us to our next point: Sproutling workers that are harmed now become incapacitated, turning them into Soul Seeds which need to be regrown in the aptly named Soul Garden. You'll be able to see your incapacitated workers as a separate stat in-game, so you can keep track of them! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/447...
Read full update on Steam ↗With a title like that, let's just get straight to the point...Green Again has found a publisher and will be published by Slug Disco. Slug Disco are the developers of Empires of the Undergrowth, and publishers of a range of nature themed titles and I'm beyond excited to be teaming up with them to make Green Again as successful and it could be. Looks like they'll need to update this reel 😏 In other, just as exciting news, Green Again recently got showcased by two big content creators - Angory Tom and Blitz both played the free demo and seemed to have a good time with it which was great to see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY2YvqS9_sE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R10mjeqqQt8 This got me thinking though, currently the game uses CC4 music, which technically should be fine for content creators to use, but to avoid the hassle of any potential monetization issues for content creators,...
