v1.1.2 Update: A Guide for Your First Treasure Map
Hello, Captains, Thank you for all your support. Here is what changed in this update: ChangesIn a first playthrough where you answered that it is your first time playing, Elena now reminds you to visit the Expedition once you get your first treasure map. You can't set sail until you have been there. Digging up that map takes less time. This update only affects a new player's first playthrough. If you already know your way around, nothing changes for you. About Your SavesExisting saves carry over, so there is no need to start again. Steam should update the game automatically; if it doesn't, restarting Steam usually does the trick. If you run into any problems, please post in the Steam Community and we will respond as soon as possible.

Hello, Captains, Thank you for all your support. Here is what changed in this update: NewAncient Compass Core: it now has a treasure effect. When digging, a few rocks glow faint green. Break them to find goods or a treasure map.Exchange: the date now appears in the top-left corner, so you can trade seasonal goods without leaving the screen. Bug FixesIn Katerina's story "Experimental Iron Chest", one of Elena's lines played the wrong voice clip, so it sounded like she said the same thing twice. About Your SavesExisting saves carry over, so there is no need to start again. Steam should update the game automatically; if it doesn't, restarting Steam usually does the trick. Hello, Captains, First, an apology. At launch, the game's design made some of its systems hard to discover, and there was plenty of friction along the way. Over the past weeks we have gone through your feedback one by one and improved the experience version by version. Thank you for sticking with us, and for giving the game another try. Here is what changed in this update:Treasure Effects CompleteThe treasure effects we have been adding since v1.0.3 are now complete: every one of the 29 treasures (except the story item) has its own effect, active as soon as it is on board, with nothing extra to do. Each effect is described in your inventory, and the departure panel, card table, shipyard, Exchange and other screens show icons for the relevant treasures. Hover over them for details. New in v1.1.0Treasure effects, batch four (the last batch): Phoenix Feather: hull durability drains half...

Atlantis Chalice: cargo hold +25%. Crown of Glory: the higher your peak reputation this run, the bigger your hold (up to +120). Shipyard: speed and firepower now include treasure bonuses. Hover over speed, firepower, capacity or durability to see the breakdown.Save and Load: the port menu (Esc or the gear button) now has separate Save and Load buttons that open straight to that screen.Exchange: hover over goods icons in the sell list to see their descriptions. Here is what changed in this update: NewTreasure effects, batch two: Heart of the Ocean: braving a storm always succeeds, with a shorter voyage and more reputation. Storms are more common. Siren's Heart: following the song always yields a treasure map; the detour days still count. Mermaids are more common. Unicorn Tears: free rescues give doubled reputation and a treasure map. Castaways are more common. Stardust Box: no mimics in drifting boxes, and claiming one always yields specialty goods. Drifting boxes are more common. Mirror of Illusion: going full speed through fog always reaches your destination. Fog is more common. Ring of Destiny: fog carries you to a random city, with a bonus market tip. Fog is more common. Hello, Captains, Thank you for all your support. Here is what changed in this update: NewGallery: A new Gallery button on the title screen. Browse the story CGs you have unlocked, one tab per companion. Drag or scroll to turn pages. Each companion has their own backdrop.Treasure effects, batch one. They work as long as you own the treasure, nothing to equip: Mysterious Crystal Ball: see the dealer's hidden card in Blackjack. Ring of Night: doubles the betting limit in Blackjack. Golden Ship: its glow draws pirates, so you meet them more often. Fleeing always succeeds but costs two extra days, and the pirates it attracts are stronger. Worth a try if you want more fights, or want to meet Katerina. Treasure icons: The card table and the Set Sail panel now show icons for the related treasures. Grey means you do not have it yet. Hello, Captains, In the last update we said hiding the dialogue box and auto-repair when entering port would come later. Both are in this update, along with the feature many of you asked for most: manual save and load. NewManual save / load in port: In port, press Esc or click the Settings gear on the city screen and choose Save / Load. There are 8 save slots, and you can load them any time from Load Game on the title screen. Autosave works as before. Continue shows where you left off: Continue on the title screen now tells you the date, port and gold of your last save before you jump back in. Elena's auto-repair: A new toggle next to the Set Sail button. Turn it on and Elena repairs your ship every time you enter port. It appears from month 4 of your first run, and from the start in later runs. You'll be asked to confirm when turning it on or off. Hide the dialogue box: During story...

Hello, Captains, Over the past few days we have read every review, chat message and piece of feedback you sent us.
