The Event is a first-person psychological horror game featuring haunting gameplay and a rich narrative.
PLOT
You wake up in an asylum with no memory of who you are or how you got there.
With the help of clues, notes and testimonies, will you be able to piece together the story of what happened to you and the people who were there the day it all happened?
Wander in the dark and find the truth.
Features :
- Immersive Graphics and Sound Design : An amazing graphics quality and an immersive sound design will give the player a detailed and terrifying place to explore.
- A smart traveler : The protagonist will be your ally in solving the story by accompanying the player with his personality and his thoughts that can be consulted by interacting and finding items in the asylum.
- Full Psychological Horror Experience : The player will not be able to use any weapon the only option is to run or hide.
- Event Reconstruction : Nothing will be revealed directly to the player. The protagonist will have to find out the truth about what happened by exploring the corners of the asylum.
- Unpredictable Situations : The player will be inadvertently surprised by the antagonists and by the terrifying situations that populates the asylum.

The Event – New Patch
A new patch for The Event is now live! This update focuses on bug fixes and general quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback. Fixed several issues that could cause Larry to get stuck during gameplay. Fixed various quality-of-life issues across the game. Fixed a bug where the Garden Storage Key could remain visible/present even after the door had already been unlocked. Improved the Settings HUD in the Main Menu, making the player's current selections clearer and easier to understand. Thank you to everyone who continues to play The Event and report issues. Your feedback helps me keep improving the game. More fixes will be released if needed!

This patch adds a new VSync option to the graphics settings. You can now enable or disable VSync directly from the settings menu, which should help reduce screen tearing on some systems. Thanks for the feedback and for helping improve The Event.
