Band of Mercenaries

Band of Mercenaries is a up to 4-player local arena game. One-hit often means one death sOoo... So you should better build the best team of mercenaries !

The game is designed around two phases: First you make your team , then you fight !

There are 3 game modes :

[SOLO / COOP] For those who crave a story-driven adventure where choices truly matter but also hunger for fast, decisive action!

You begin as two humble peasants at a turning point in a gritty low-fantasy world . From there, everything unfolds according to your decisions!

Your group shift as the story unfolds , and each clash is fought in brutal arenas where one blow can be fatal, though choose your actions wisely.

Step into a rich, morally complex universe, where nothing is black and white, and every path leads to multiple possible endings .

[MULTI]  For quick games (between 15 and 30 minutes)

You fight in a region with 4 battles. Before each battle, you get your mercenaries in a betting phase . Mercenaries are presented to the players and they join the highest bidder.

Then you fight like every arena game !

The player or coalition (if you play with teams) with the most battles won is declared the winner ! To spice things up , losers get one more coin after each battle and additional coins can be earned at the end of certain battles if you complete optional objectives.

[MULTI] For longer games (30 minutes to 2 hours)

Players must manage their kingdom on a strategic map if they hope to gather powerful armies . This is how they can win the decisive battles because as before, battles are played out in the arena, so beware... strategy is not the only factor for success !

Their objective here? Basically to take the province of the other player's leaders, but some maps can help you win in other ways !

Anyway, to cut a long story short,

Band of Mercenaries was intended to improve geek nights, parties with friends, social gathering and resolve couples fighting or conflicts between roommates, brothers and sisters or even citizens, but it now also allows you to escape from the real world for a few hours!
