About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Polyion is a simple and minimalistic town builder.

Forget about being overwhelmed by complex city management and build systems; Polyion lets you build your town, acquire/spend resources and watch your world change; with minimalistic resource, building, resident and animal features.

Town Building

Placing buildings like factories and mines allow you to collect resources like wood, stone and metal. These resources can, in return, be used to place new buildings and upkeep them. You must manage the building amounts to ensure you don't expend more resources than you collect, keep residents happy and most of all keep the town functioning!

Resources

You can harvest wood, stone and metal from the trees and resource pockets in the world.

Other resources such as money are received from housing taxes and commercial buildings. Buildings only provide resources if it has residents working at the buildings, so ensure you have adequate housing to ensure a growing population!

Sandbox

Most, if not all, of the buildings can be placed anywhere. However some buildings like storage must be placed next to a factory. Other than that, there is no limit to where you can build, what you can place and how you build your town; as long as you don't run out of resources...
