    Happy New Year 2026! It's great to catch up with you all for this new year! Fortune Avenue has already come a long way since its launch in April 2025, with networking improvements, DirectX 12 rendering support, new language options, new wonders, cards, and rules, safe to say everything's heading in the right direction. And v0.48.0 is arriving almost 2 months ahead of schedule. Originally slated for March 2026, I had to make a few trade-offs to get everything in without introducing bugs.     Hey everyone! v0.45.0 released in June 2025 was pretty well received. You seemed to enjoy the addition of new rules, cards, and content. It felt good to see that we were heading in the right direction. For this v0.46.0, I've only worked on elements from the official roadmap and your feedback. I try to stay responsive to what you tell me, even though I can't always implement everything at once. Interface and ergonomics I've added a few small improvements that should make the experience a bit smoother. There's now a button to change camera behavior directly from the game screen.     Hello everyone! The last major update for Fortune Avenue was pretty well received. It added quite a bit of stability and content! This new version is going to change the look of the game, starting with the lobby, which has been significantly improved! More Customization If you've just launched Fortune Avenue, you've surely noticed that the lobby contains a few additional buttons. Now you can choose the appearance of your dice, and even the look of your tombstone. For when you lose, obviously. But honestly, no one really loses in Fortune Avenue. What's coming in this new version of Fortune Avenue? This is an update that focuses on character customization. You'll be able to customize your dice with rounded dice, sharp-edged ones, auras, or even smoke effects. I've tried to be imaginative when it comes to dice, but if you have more ideas, I'm all ears.     Hello everyone! What a launch?! With more than 300 sales in 48 hours, that's not bad at all! Thank you to all of you who purchased the game and are playing it, it's wonderful! I want to see the Fortune Avenue community grow, more and more! Though, we still need more players. Even if 300 of you bought the game, you're not all playing at the same time. So, I've contacted the press and influencers to ask them to talk about the game, or even play it to bring in more players!     Technical Update for Fortune Avenue

    Hello everyone! Thank you for reading and especially for growing in numbers! I've gone through your feedback and it's excellent. Now I'm working directly on the complete game, adding new rules, implementing local multiplayer, among other things. Before getting there, I wanted to tell you that Fortune Avenue is made with Godot Engine. An Open Source and free game engine. I really like the idea behind this engine which is collaborative and allows me to make quality games without having to worry too much about the technical aspects. In short, Fortune Avenue uses the latest version of this engine, and an even more stable version has just been released. So that's what this morning's small update was about. Synchronization Issues Some network games may experience synchronization problems. This happens particularly during your first game, after which it shouldn't occur again. To prevent this from happening, I had to revise the algorithm managing the game's internal state machine so it only synchronizes when necessary.
