King's Cup is a drinking game played online with friends. A player pulls a card from the card circle and places it on top of the cup in the center face side up. Based on the card that player or all players must take an action, usually leading to one or more people taking a drink. It is recommended to have 3 or more players before starting the game and to use a VoIP chatting service like Discord.
Controls and Inputs
The controls and inputs for the game and cards are shown to the user in a popup text after each card pull, for example when you need to press up arrow or W during 7 is Heaven.
A full list of rules and controls can also be found by pressing the Info button while in-game.
The default rules are listed below. You can also create your own rulesets using the rules editor!
Ace: Waterfall: Everyone drinks in turn. The player who drew the card starts, and each player may stop only after the player before them stops.
2: You: The player who drew the card chooses someone to drink.
3: Me: The player who drew the card drinks.
4: Ladies: All ladies drink.
5: Thumb Master: The player who drew the card becomes the Thumb Master. When they press T or right-click, their cursor will become a thumbs up. Everyone must respond, and the last player to give a thumbs-up drinks.
6: Lords: All lords drink.
7: Heaven: Everyone must press W or the Up Arrow to point toward heaven. The last player to respond drinks.
8: Date: The player who drew the card chooses a date. Whenever one of them drinks, both must drink.
9: Rhyme: The player who drew the card says a word. Players take turns giving rhyming words until someone runs out of ideas.
10: Categories: The player who drew the card names a category and gives the first example. Players continue naming items in that category until someone cannot think of another.
Jack: Make a Rule: The player who drew the card creates a new table rule. Anyone who breaks it drinks.
Queen: Question Master: The player who drew the card becomes the Question Master. Anyone who answers one of their questions must drink.
King: Viking King: The player who drew the card becomes the Viking King and may summon everyone to row at any time. Players alternate pressing A and D to row, the last player to finish drinks.
Birthday Bash gives the standard game a celebratory makeover, including confetti and birthday-cake effects.

Read full update on Steam ↗Release contains a hotfix for an issue causing turns to be assigned to players out of order. Turns should now be sequential based on the order players join the server. When all players have gone, the host will go again and the order should continue. Under some conditions an error would occur during the turn rotation, as a last resort the server would reset and give the host the turn again. This is now resolved.
