New Buildings & Progression

Added five purchasable town buildings, each with unique benefits:

Church – Generates passive income through donations from residents.

Mansion – Unlocks new player skills to learn.

Workshop – Unlocks level 7 derrick upgrades, vehicle construction, and additional lumberjack aerocopters.

Bank – Unlocks government contracts with two requirements to fulfill.

Saloon – Unlocks optional night shifts for workers. Enabling night shifts doubles their wages.

Added four new super skills.

Added an outro sequence for completing the game.

Random Events & World

Added a daily newspaper system introducing random events that can affect gameplay. Check the newspaper by your house to find out what’s happening.

Added map markers for events taking place in the game world.

Extended the duration of both day and night.

Vehicles, Workers & Automation

Added a new drivable vehicle for travelling and transporting goods.

Added an Unstuck option for the vehicle.

Added an automatic vehicle-calling option to the oil tank board.

Added two additional lumberjack aerocopters.

Added worker support for oil machines at electric derricks.

The oil truck can now collect oil from two oil tanks.

Controls & UI

Added dynamic control prompts for keyboard and two types of gamepads, including matching controller button icons.

More UI panels can now be closed with ESC.

Added new animations for selected UI panels, opening the map, and the New Tutorial and New Journal Page notifications.

Made the Unstuck button more visible.

Made various minor UI improvements.

Dialogue, Tutorials & Localization

Added new dialogue and voice-over when picking up journal pages.

Added two new tutorials.

Corrected translations in multiple languages.

Adjusted numerous text blocks to prevent clipping in localized text.

Corrected inaccurate descriptions for several items.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue that prevented interaction with contracts in certain areas of the contracts panel.

Fixed item-throw calculations running when throwing was unavailable.

Fixed an issue where the furnace fire could disappear despite fuel still being available.

Fixed various minor physics issues with held objects.

Fixed an issue with oil sound playback.

Machinery is the beating heart of your operation, but these iron beasts need constant babysitting. Listen to the rhythm of the pumps, replace grinding gears, and fight off the ever-present rust. If you don't maintain your equipment, the elements will gladly take it back.

You can't drain the earth dry on your own. Hire a rugged crew to handle the heavy lifting. Train your workers to boost efficiency, and don't forget to upgrade your home base. Better living conditions mean higher morale, unlocking new ways to streamline your growing business.
