Hey everyone! We didn't make an announcement for our previous announcements so we'll bundle it all in here. We've been cleaning up bugs within Crosshair X. The main bug was related to a standard Windows communication protocol that assisted in connecting to the Game bar. The way to fix this issue wasn't straightforward and it required us to push code, see if Game Bar still worked on all machines, keep trying fixes, and repeating this process till we truly solved the issue. We apologize for that large amount of updates in a short period of time. Hopefully that was the last time we have to push a lot of updates in a short period of time. Players who are experiencing stability problems (such as Crosshair X randomly closing, etc) are encouraged to verify integrity of their files, or perform a reinstallation of Crosshair X by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Fixed bugs in the Steam Workshop Publisher, including fixing a bug where the preview in the publisher would not reflect what was going to be published. Fixed bugs in the Simple Overlay Mode, including fixing unexpected behavior on 4k displays, and on screens that have been scaled by Windows. Introduced more error reporting improvements. Fixed a bug where Launch on Startup does not work as expected, leaving Steam reporting that Crosshair X is "Launching" with no visible results.

We tried releasing this update earlier but users ran into technical issues and we decided to roll it back till we could work out some kinks! Anyways, many of you asked for the ability to launch Crosshair X on computer startup and for the app to start minimized. Now those features are available! Just head over to the 'Options' page of the app. We also moved the 'Hide on Right Click' functionality to this page because we think it just made more sense. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38447446/f21ce9d0197d006f50e335a8e9510a7f9ec205a9.png Additionally, we added a few bug fixes: Certain resolutions with scaling caused a jittering of the crosshair in Windowed Fullscreen mode. For all of you experiencing any lag issues, we hope this recent update resolves the issue. If not, please try disabling V-Sync in your game or G-Sync through the Nvidia Control Panel. If that doesn't work, please contact us through the Support page as we'd like to figure this out once and for all! In the meantime, we're working on updates based on all of the feedback you have been pouring in! Hopefully we'll have some more updates out in the coming week.

This week's updates are centered around providing clearer instructions on how to set up the app to work flawlessly in every game you play! Exclusive Fullscreen and Centering Instructions The 'Exclusive Fullscreen' page now displays quick animated instructions on how to properly set up the Game Bar extension and position the crosshair perfectly. We're still working with Microsoft to allow us to automatically center the Game Bar extension but this should help in the meantime.
