Bigger grids and five new languages
Bigger grids, more languages More of your chat on the grid, and more of your chat in their own language. This update raises the racer limits, adds five new languages and cleans up a batch of details. Bigger grids Time Trial now takes up to 250 racers (was 200). Arcade now takes up to 100 racers (was 75). If your Max Cars setting was at the old maximum, it moves up to the new one automatically. Other values stay as they were. Five new languages Stream Racer is now also available in Czech, Hungarian, Italian, Russian and Turkish, bringing the total to 15. Choose your language under Settings > Language; by default the game follows your Steam language. Update 2.6.2 Play in your language Stream Racer is now available in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Choose your language under Settings > Language. By default the game follows your Steam language. Viewer names with accents or Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters now display properly instead of showing as boxes. New New race intro: the camera sweeps around the starting grid from the side and ends up behind the cars. Grand Prix creation now shows an estimated total time for the selected maps. Patch 2.6.1: no more stuck race starts This is a small fix for a big annoyance. When a viewer's join didn't reach the Stream Racer servers, or the connection stalled, the race could hang at the start line and never begin. That is now fixed. What changed When the race starts, the game waits at most 10 seconds for joins that are still processing. Then it starts with everyone who made it. A join that drops out is retried automatically. If a viewer still can't be registered, they are left out of that race so everyone else can go ahead. They can type !race to join again. If nobody is left after that, the game reopens the lobby and resets the countdown. It no longer starts an empty race that would never finish. Server requests now give up after 30 seconds instead of waiting forever on a stalled connection. Hosts, update and race on. Racers, type !race in chat when the lobby opens!

It’s been a while in the making, but it’s finally here! The Stream Racer Track Builder is now available in early access! Build your own tracks, the way you like to. Get full control over your tracks, bending your roads into a precision of 0.25 degrees (for those very thorough builders, I see you). After you’ve finished constructing your roads, it’s time to construct your objects! Boost pads, tire stacks and complete stands, place the however you like. After your complete map is done, it’s time to put it to the test. Through our automated testing system, the game will determine if your track meets our minimum track requirements. Hey all, A quick small patch here, fixing some small things. This patch contains: Leaderboard now properly shows finishers again. Pressing 1 to 9 will now (again) switch to cars that haven't finished yet. Fixed respawning problem where cars got stuck on obstacles. Added 0 key to go to the 10th place car Added support for numpad 1-9 keys Added a small new billboard. This is a non-forced patch, meaning you don't have to update in order to start a race (server works with both 1.7.0 and 1.7.1. Welcome to patch 1.7.0! There's quite some changes this patch so, if you're interested, be sure to read the patch notes below! Patch notes Turned off vehicle to vehicle collision. We've noticed that vehicle are more blocking each other in an annoying way then in a fun way. Now, vehicles will still collide with the environment and obstacles, just now with each other. Created faster paced racers with still a touch of chaos. Upped the maximum racers to 200(!!) Various performance optimizations. (way) more FPS in game, less CPU and less GPU usage overal. Added over 30 new skins! Be sure to check them in the app! (App also has had a small visual update!) Leaderboard now has room for top 10 players Leaderboard's height now shrinks if you have less than 10 players in your game.
