    Demo v2.4 - Unlucky

Hello everyone, Eddie here with another update for Carrot Revenge.MAJOR CHANGESLUCK SYSTEMLuck turned out to be too unpredictable—often leading to either overpowered runs or wasted upgrades. Demo Update v2.3 - Skill Tree and Performance Improvements

Hello everyone, Eddie here with another update for Carrot Revenge.SKILL TREE FOR PERKSAs part of this update, I've decided to completely revamp how perks are earned and chosen. One issue with the old system was that rewarded perks were completely random. This created situations where players received perks that didn't connect with their current build, making them useless. At the same time, players could also high-roll game-changing perks that made them extremely powerful, which could break the run.The old Unique Chest interface has now been replaced with the skill tree. The skill tree contains 5 main paths:Rabbit - movement speed focusedTrickster - dodge chance focusedVengeful - damage focusedKnight - defense focusedTank - maximum health focusedEvery time a player eliminates a Unique or Boss enemy, they earn a perk point that can be used in the skill tree. The skill tree contains small...

Demo Update v2.2 - Carrototems and Visual Changes

Hello everyone, Eddie here with the latest update for Carrot RevengeNEW WEAPON TYPE - CARROTOTEMI've noticed that third and especially fourth weapon upgrades normally felt underwhelming.By the time you reach them, your first and second weapons should have already received many upgrades, and the higher difficulty to level up as the game progresses leaves fewer opportunities to invest in those later weapons. To address this, I'm introducing Carrototems.Carrototems are support weapons that occupy the same slots as regular weapons, meaning you are still limited to four weapons total. You don't necessarily need to use Carrototems, but they have an increased chance of appearing as the fourth weapon option during level-ups compared to regular weapons. In this update, I'm adding 8 different types of Carrototems, each interacing with enemies or the player while within their area of influence (v...

Improved end-game leveling-up logic.Added a new visual aid to alert player when the endless waves are starting.Added a timer to the top left of the screen showing the player's current time in the endless waves.Increased the time between defeating the boss and endless waves to 10 seconds, this delay should allow the player's to enter the portal without risk of being eliminated by the endless wave enemies.Enemies will now get stronger at every minute mark that the player is in the endless waves.CHANGES/FIXESFixed cases where the Unique Chest UI could be closed without choosing a Perk.Performance improvements when using the Moon Power Up.Fixed cases where in the end...

Major Update - Demo Version 2.0

Hello everyone, Eddie here, developer of Carrot Revenge.Progress is better than ever and a major demo overhaul happened, please download/update the demo version of the game to check the changes, its a big list so better get started.MAJOR UPDATESGAMEPLAY COREMain Game Progression (Reworked)After research I decided to switch the main core progression of the game, before you had a set number of enemies by wave, these waves would be completed by time survived OR by defeating every spawned enemy, however this limited the number of enemies a player could defeat and also made the game extremely linear, meaning that there was little possibility for better runs other than dodging more attacks and getting luckier with the upgrades. From now on every wave has a set time and enemies from that wave stay alive as long as they are not defeated or get out of camera-sight of the player, these changes...
